Courtesy: IMDb
Robert Pattinson will star in the indie movie “Waiting for the Barbarians”.

The film is based on the allegorical novel by J.M. Coetzee and follows a British magistrate (Rylance) in a small colonial town who begins to question his loyalty to the Empire as he attempts to ignore an inevitable war with the so-called “barbarians.” No word on who Robert Pattinson (or Depp) is playing, but this is an intriguing project for the actor.

The Director is Ciro Guerra. Robert Pattinson will play Mandel. The movie is in pre-production stage in 2019.

Robert Pattinson Wears DIOR Shorts with Pulled-up Socks on the Red Carpet

Phpto: GettyImages
Last night, at a screening of the Claire Denis film High Life in New York, Robert
Pattinson won shorts with hiked-up black socks. The outfit came courtesy of
Dior Men by Kim Jones from the Spring 2019 menswear collection. Crocodile
derbies with a neon-and-white sneaker sole finished the outré statement.
As for Pattinson, his deviation from the standard suit and tie is refreshing, especially now that he has ventured out of mainstream blockbuster movies and into smaller, more art-minded roles. And besides, he looks great showing a little leg.

High Life Receives the Award of International Federation of Film Critics

The FIPRESCI (International Federation of Film Critics) has handed out its prize in the 66th San Sebastián International Film Festival's competition to High Life Movie by French director Claire Denis.

High Life, screening in competition at the 66th San Sebastián International Film Festival, opens with a brief prologue where we see astronaut (Robert Pattinson) repairing his ship, alone in the emptiness of deep space. Meanwhile, inside the vessel, a baby cries inconsolably in a makeshift crib. The two seem to be the only occupants of this place, but, as we soon discover, they were not always so alone in this inhospitable environment. When the film gets properly under way, we travel back in time to learn that at one time the spacecraft was home to a sizeable community of men and women, led by one Dr Dibs (Juliette Binoche): a kind of femme fatale, mad scientist and fugitive in search of redemption (yes, all at once), obsessed with creating the perfect human embryo.

High Life is a co-production between Alcatraz Films (France), Pandora Filmproduktion (Germany), The Apocalypse Films (Germany), Madants (Poland) and Andrew Lauren Productions (USA).

Elizabeth Reaser Is Open For ‘Twilight’ Reboot

Image: Summit
In a recent interview, Elizabeth Reaser, a.k.a. Esme Cullen, admitted that she’d like to see Twilight come back in some way shape or form in the future.

“I’m always open to things coming back,” Elizabeth said. “I’m not precious about things that I’ve done, or things that were great. You know, I don’t feel that way. I think, like, why not, if people love the story. Especially something that is based on a book. I mean, I’m working on The Haunting of Hill House right now. There was a film, there was another film, and now we did a series that’s going to be airing on October 12 on Netflix. Again, it’s a re-imagining. So I think when something is great source material, like, why not revisit it?”

Elizabeth’s co-star, Robert Pattinson, who played Edward Cullen, recently talked about getting the cast together for a reunion. “I was literally just talking to my agent about it,”said. “The amount of time I spend moisturizing…I am ready to play 17 at a moment’s notice. I’m ready!”

In “Twilight” also starred Kristen Stewart, Nikki Reed, Peter Facinelli, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene, and Jackson Rathbone. The movie and its sequels, based on Stephenie Meyer’s best-selling books, became a worldwide phenomenon. This is the era of reboots and revival, so let’s follow Elizabeth’s lead and get the Twilight back together!

Just two days after his ex-fiancée FKA twigs was spotted taking a stroll with Shia LaBeouf, Robert Pattinson poses with LaBeouf’s ex-wife Mia Goth. FKA twigs was previously engaged to Pattinson in 2015 before they split in 2017.

Pattinson and Goth, who are starring in new film High Life, were seen posing together on Thursday (7 September) at the 66th San Sebastian International Film Festival during a photocall.

Pattinson, 32, kept things casual in a striped shirt, which he paired with a black jacket, matching pants and some sturdy boots. Meanwhile Goth, 24, went for a more monochromatic look, opting for a black blazer, which she wore alongside a black shirt, black pants, and a pair of black high heels.

The two actors also posed alongside costars Juliette Binoche and baby Scarlett Lindsey, who also appears in the film.

Robert Pattinson...Ready For a "Twilight" Reunion?

Picture: Summit
In a recent interview with Variety Robert Pattinson said that it feels like “not a day has passed” since he filmed the “Twilight” franchise.

Pattinson, who talked about his new sci-fi film “High Life,” joked that he “stopped mentally progressing around the time when I started doing those movies.”

“Whenever anyone says [‘Twilight’]’s their guilty pleasure, it’s like, you say guilty, what you really mean is just pleasure,” he said.

Pattinson continued that he doesn’t feel that he made a conscious choice to switch from a massive franchise to more arthouse films: “It’s just the stuff that appeals to me.”

He added that he doesn’t make choices flippantly. For “High Life,” Pattinson said it took him three years to get a meeting with director Claire Denis and then another four years passed with him attached to the film before shooting began.

“Pretty much everything I’ve done are these massive processes…I’m just hoping that these things happen and there’s ton of circumstances that come into play.”

He said the only factor that really affects his decision-making is that he likes to take roles that are the opposite of the last one he had.

When it comes to a “Twilight” reunion, Pattinson joked that “the amount of time I’ve spent moisturizing, I am ready to play 17 at a moment’s notice. Ready!”
