Last night, at a screening of the
Claire Denis film High Life in New York, Robert
Pattinson won shorts
with hiked-up black socks. The outfit came courtesy of
Dior Men by Kim Jones
from the Spring 2019 menswear collection. Crocodile
derbies with a
neon-and-white sneaker sole finished the outré statement.
As for Pattinson, his deviation
from the standard suit and tie is refreshing, especially now that he has
ventured out of mainstream blockbuster movies and into smaller, more art-minded
roles. And besides, he looks great showing a little leg.
